Mr. Kazuyoshi Akiyama and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra have given many performances together since its foundation. Mr. Akiyama is a master conductor who has supported the postwar orchestra world in Japan and contributed greatly to the development of classical music and orchestra culture. We are calling on all domestic orchestras that hold Mr. Akiyama’s titles to create and sell commemorative Tenugui towel to celebrate his 60 years as a conductor.
